Petco Foundation Invests in Lifesaving Work of All About Cats Rescue
Grant of $5,000 will extend efforts to save more animal lives in the New York Area
Freeport August 26,2017 – All About Cats Rescue of Freeport New York , today announced it has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to support its Trap Neuter and Return Program (TNR) in its effort to humanely reduce the over population of felines in the community.
All About Cats Rescue is a nonprofit organization serving Long Island, New York City. Since 2010, All About Cats Rescue has worked to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned cats and kittens through rescue, rehabilitation and placing them in forever homes. All About Cats is a cage free, no kill shelter and has saved more than 4,000 cats and kittens.
The Petco Foundation investment will help All About Cats Rescue reach its goal to make a significant impact on the community by humanely reducing the over population of felines in the community by coordinating a rigorous TNR, Trap Neuter and Return Program for cats that live in outdoor colonies.
