All About Cats Rescue is a recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
Our mission is to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned cats and kittens throughout Long Island, NY. We aim to achieve this through the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of homeless felines from animal shelters, found stray, abandoned, neglected and/or abused.
We strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership and promote spay/neuter. We are dedicated to end the tragedy of pet overpopulation by opposing pet stores selling live animals and irresponsible over breeding of companion animals.
Approximately 5 million healthy, loving, adoptable dogs and cats are killed in the United States each year because there are not enough homes for the millions of animals being bred. For every human birth, approximately seven cats and dogs are born. Do your part – please spay and neuter your pets!
